Server Rules
Faultline RP is an 18+ semi-serious to serious RP server. These rules exist to protect immersion and the experience of every player. Violations are taken seriously.
General Conduct
01You must be 18 or older to play. No exceptions whatsoever.
02Respect all players and staff at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech results in an immediate permanent ban.
03No cheating, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized modifications. Report bugs to staff immediately rather than exploiting them.
04Do not discuss bans, punishments, or staff decisions publicly. Use the appropriate Discord channels for all appeals and disputes.
05All staff decisions are final. You may submit a ban appeal through the Discord server's designated appeal channel.
Roleplay Rules
06Stay in character at all times while in the city. Use /ooc for out-of-character communication only when absolutely necessary.
07No RDM (Random Deathmatch). All violence must have valid, established roleplay reasoning behind it.
08No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch). Do not use vehicles as weapons without valid and established RP context.
09Value your life. Act as your character would realistically act when faced with a genuine threat to their life.
10New Life Rule (NLR): After death, your character does not remember the events that led to their death.
Criminal & Gang RP
11Gang wars and hits must be properly escalated through RP interactions before any lethal action may be taken.
12No combat logging. Disconnecting during an active RP situation will result in punishment up to a permanent ban.
13Hostage situations must follow the hostage RP rules outlined in the rules channel of our Discord server.
14Whitelisted robbery locations have cooldown timers. Do not attempt to exploit or bypass these cooldowns in any way.
Reporting & Metagaming
15Use the in-game report system to report rule-breakers. Do not attempt to police other players yourself.
16Do not abuse the report system with false, spam, or retaliatory reports against other players.
17Metagaming — using out-of-character information in-character — is strictly prohibited and will result in punishment.
18Streaming and content creation is permitted. Do not attempt to dox, expose, or share personal information about other players.
